Who doesn’t love a race against time? Throw in some peril, family issues, a rookie cop, a criminal gang and a whiff of corruption and frankly you’ve got yourself a fast paced crime thriller.
I love the concept of ‘The Crimsons’ brilliantly credible and menacing and yet they were all so flawed and human.
Jake Tanner has the clean lines and good heart of a future hero, he was good to follow.
I am now sure if this is a debut or just the first in a series but either way it reads like an experienced author and Jake Tanner and his world burst into life in my mind.
A great thriller – perfectly distracting.
