Doctor’s Orders by Nina Ruiz

Writer and poet Nina Ruiz kindly shared her book with me. The book includes a collection and poems featuring love, loss, heartbreak, joy and transition.

I particularly liked this one:

SILENCE
I wanna be alone,
but not lonely…
can you relate?
I wanna be strong
but wanna be rescued…
can you relate?
We’re fighting, I’m yelling; it’s loud.
The pain comes out as anger with tears.
You smile at me, almost mocking.
How could this be love? Does my pain bring you joy?
What is is but a smile…
I’m loud, but he’s lounder.
The loudest sound of all…
Silence.

This collection is perfect for dipping in and out of, and would be ideal to share with friends or family who you feel might benefit from a particular message.

A delightful little book that is available to buy now https://www.amazon.co.uk/Doctors-Orders-Poetry-Nina-Ruiz-ebook/dp/B094W6BRZL

And I found this little video online too that you might enjoy:
