I have to confess to being a little frustrated with Curtis at times. Not least the night he lets a complete stranger into their house, and their lives, seemingly utterly unable to read Vanessa’s thoughts or needs.

Once ‘Essa’s ex-boyfriend is firmly on the scene again their idyllic life starts to fracture and unravel with every new revelation about the past and dear old Curtis seems determined to remain utterly obtuse!

But just how deep and dark are the secrets that ‘Essa is hiding and how much disruption will Hayden cause to their lives.

With a multitude of characters that you’ll love to hate, this suspenseful psychological thriller will get under your skin in no time and keep you guessing to the very end.
