Where to start with this one…?

It’s a perfect Halloween read that’s for sure as The Stairwell is dark and otherworldly with a side order of mild terror!

Also – I absolutely LOVE the cover image, I think it’s fab.

I felt so sorry for small town girl, naive little Alice! Going off to uni should have been the time of her life and it so nearly was once she’d made some friends and hooked up with Mr Dreamy himself, Niel the perfect boyfriend.

But things soon take a dark turn for this poor girl.

The Stairwell also follows the story of Brandon and his – frankly – long suffering wife Stephanie. (He struck gold with her!) They are jogging along ok in an average life until dark and frightening visions start happening to Brandon. Is he losing his mind or are they real?

One thing’s for sure, there is dark and malevolent force stalking the stairwell and this is not a read for the easily spooked. Dare you…
