Ouija by Zoé-Lee O’Farrell

4 Stars from me

I absolutely loved this debut novel from Zoé-Lee O’Farrell of @ZooloosBT fame!

It was dark and atmospheric with a wonderfully innocent vibe to it as follows a group of high school students who unwittingly land themselves in a whole heap of trouble when they use a makeshift Ouija board in an old deserted school.

The group of friends who wander into Rayner High School that night will never be the same again as a series of quite shocking events are unleashed. I found myself reading this late at night and checking more than once that the curtains were fully closed… definitely a spooky read that will get under your skin.

I think this story would also appeal to younger readers and could be a perfect gateway book for young adults wanting to whet their appetites for a love of reading.

Genuinely an honour to be a part of this blog tour and I can’t wait to read whatever Zoé writes next.

Blurb: The only thing for certain is the deaths were no accident.

Rayner High School once a prestigious school stands in ruins after such a terrible event.

A year later, a group of friends return to the abandoned school and their nightmare begins.

Something wants to get out and won’t take NO for an answer…
