The House of Silk: A Sherlock Holmes Novel
by Anthony Horowitz
I love the old style detective stories.
I fondly remember watching Miss Marple, Murder She Wrote, Quincy and of course many different versions and adaptations of Sherlock Holmes.
Currently I love Lewis, Morse, The Mentalist and Midsummer Murders, so I was very intrigued by this book as it was a new Sherlock book penned by the author of many an episode of Midsummer Murders!
I have to say I loved it. I thoroughly enjoyed the writing style and story itself.
So it’s a ‘well done’ and a ‘thank you’ from me to Andrew Horowitz
